Cor rubi intensa, impenetrável, bem brilhante, finas e lentas lágrimas. Aroma muito intenso de amora, ameixa, groselha, cereja, couro, pimenta negra, resina, cravo, fumo, baunilha, chocolate, café, bem rico em detalhes, persistente. Na boca um vinho encorpado, com álcool bem integrado, potente, taninos másculos, domados, com bela acidez, longo final de groselha, amora, cereja, café, chocolate.
