Vinho de cor rubi intenso, com reflexos cor de morango, minúsculo halo alaranjado, bem brilhante, finas e lentas lágrimas. Aroma intenso de hortelã, menta, aceto balsâmico, pimenta malagueta, amora, ameixa preta, groselha, framboesa, algo herbáceo tomilho, grama molhada, violeta, couro, fumo de cachimbo, chocolate amargo, café, com bela riqueza de detalhes, mas persistência média. Na boca um vinho encorpado, seco, mas levemente adocicado, bem agradável, com maravilhosa acidez. Álcool bem integrado, com leve amargor, taninos másculos, mas domados, potentes e ainda esperando atingir seu nível máximo e final muito agradável de framboesa, amora, ameixa, groselha, café e chocolate amargo, com grande persistência. O vinho melhorou muito com o churrasco com fraldinha, ancho, mandioca frita, cebola no azeite e linguiça parrileira na reunião de preparação para o novo ano da Confraria SOEDBB. A presença dos amigos melhoraram este maravilhoso vinho.
