Aroma de média intensidade de amora, cereja, ameixa preta, groselha, framboesa, café, chocolate amargo, couro, pimenta rosa, com persistência média. Na boca um vinho encorpado, seco, com álcool bem integrado, taninos femininos, doces, mas já domados, num longo final de amora, cereja, ameixa preta, morango, pimenta rosa, chocolate amargo e café. Acompanhou bem o bolinho de costela e a pizza de calabresa com cebola e a de quatro queijos no restaurante DiLucca. Melhorou com a companhia dos amigos pescadores e esposas.
