Vinho de cor purpura intensa impenetrável, com reflexos violetas bem brilhantes, com longas e lentas pernas. Aroma de média intensidade de amora, cereja, ameixa preta, groselha, framboesa, hirtelã, pimenta rosa, cogumelos, café, chocolate amargo, com persistência média. Na boca um vinho encorpado, seco, com álcool bem integrado, taninos femininos, doces, já domados, em um longo final de amora, cereja, ameixa preta, framboesa, pimenta rosa, chocolate amargo e café. Acompanhou bem o bolinho de bacalhau e de boteco com carne e queijo derretido, além da pizza de escarola com bacon no restaurante DiLucca. Melhorou com a companhia dos amigos pescadores e esposas.
