Vinho cor violeta intenso, com reflexos grenás, bem brilhantes, finas e lentas lágrimas. Aroma intenso de ameixa preta, cereja, amora, framboesa, pimenta negra, café, rico em detalhes mas com persistência média. Na boca um vinho inicialmente bem seco, levemente amargo e com final algo doce e uma bela acidez. Álcool bem integrado, imperceptível, com taninos doces, maduros, com final intenso de café, ameixa, morango, cereja e amora.
