Cor rubi intenso, com reflexos cor de violeta, bem brilhantes, finas e lentas pernas. Aroma de média intensidade de framboesa, amora, cereja, café, chocolate pouco persistente. Na boca um vinho de corpo médio, mas agradável, com bela acidez, álcool bem integrado. Um vinho discreto, com taninos doces, femininos e um longo final de café, amora, cereja. Este vinho já foi melhor, acompanhou bem o Ancho do Celeiro, mas foi valorizado pelo prato, mais que o o valorizasse.
