Santcho Gastronomia Ibérica – Jantar e Degustação com a Bodega Juan Gil
Eu e minha namorada viemos com grupo de amigos da nossa Confraria de Vinhos para um jantar com degustação da Bodega Juan Gil, no restaurante Santcho Gastronomia Ibérica. O chefe Antonio Santcho nos recebeu e apresentou a enóloga e ao importador dos vinhos da Bodega Juan Gil no Brasil.
Ela nos falou do seu trabalho, os locais dos vinhos, uvas e que cada vinho seria acompanhado por um vinho especifico.
O restaurante é muito bem decorado com a linda adega climatizada central e ao seu lado o bar. Na adega estão climatizados presuntos crus, charutos, vinhos e outras bebidas. A adega é bem iluminada com vinhos corretamente armazenados e expostos, com uma grande variedade de preços e sempre de qualidade.
O restaurante estava lotado com sua decoração intimista, moderna e alegre, usando móveis claros, todos com iluminação discreta. Os colaboradores são muito bem treinados, atendendo alegremente e de uma forma gentil, explicando pratos, temperos, sabores. O chefe é super atencioso, com uma boa prosa sobre vinhos e gastronomia ibérica.
O primeiro vinho, de entrada foi um vinho excelente vinho branco Honoro Vera Verdejo 2023 da denominação Rueda, acompanhando Gambas ao Ajilo, camarões salteados no alho e pimenta biquinho. Intenso, aromático e super refrescante. Como primeiro prato de entrada tivemos Lombo de Porco Preto com purê de maçã, redução de vinho do Porto e crocante de castanha de cajú, acompanhado por um vinho tinto Laya 2022 um blended de Garnacha Tintoreira e Monastrel da denominação Almansa bem interessante. Como prato principal Filé Mignon Alentejano acompanhado de aspargos envoltos em Jamon e com redução de vinho Jerez. Ele foi acompanhado por um vinho Juan Gil Tinto 2020, de uvas Monastrel de velhas parcelas Denominação Jumilla, fantástico. A sobremesa foram Churros Espanhóis com ganache de chocolate ladeado por vinho Godina 2020, um tinto com 16 graus de álcool com uvas Garnacha da denominação Campo de Borja. Pratos saborosos e que acompanharam muito bem cada um dos vinhos.
Gostamos muito do evento e recomendamos uma visita ao restaurante.
